Would a post lets say that said "lets set fire to a mosque with people in it" or "I would rather contribute to the Alex Ferguson Retirement fund than the Ghaza appeal for children" trolling or simple or is that vapid?? and stimulating?

The misplaced joy and pride here is nothing short of hilarious. Why don't people appreciate the histoy of wafer thin majority governments? They always end in disarray and disaster. Look at the list pf past victims in my previous post to get an idea of the sluggy one's likely fate. It will not end well....

No one should gloat in victory, IMO, in football or politics because your next defeat may never be too far away (OK, it could be five years but...).

so you can insult and say whatever you want before an election, but when the party you voted for wins its comfortably you can't sound a little bit happy

You can do whatever you want if it is legal. This is a democracy, thank goodness, and we should all cherish the fact that we got a free vote yesterday. Nothing wrong with being happy when you win but gloating is something else.

how is it ? if labour would have won there would have been loads of posts on here gloating. i wouldn't be bothered about it or let it affect me ? i understand politicians shouldn't gloat, but voters can. Dont see why not ?

Been trying to keep an eye on it, but only just got the time to post.

As most, shocked with the result. The polling industry needs a reset I think.

On a political note, hopefully the growth continues. Said countless times I think the growth is being driven more by confidence rather than governmental intervention. But let's see.

I hope we can gain some sense of normality about immigration and the eu

Really got a sense that the Tory line of the last year was predominantly down to the desire to win the election.

I fear for the referendum, don't know how it would be implemented in practice if we do exit. But now will just hope that the "in" camp markets itself well enough.

Finally, I think I speak for posh, pretty people everywhere when I say we do, in fact, make extremely good leaders.

United fans will gloat if they finish above us. It's a personal choice but given the definition of the verb to gloat: "to look at or think about with great or excessive, often smug or malicious, satisfaction." I think it is best avoided - it's a personal choice.
