This thread is too tory heavy for me but the odd objective fact is good now and again :)

The Cellar is now more right wing than an EDL march. Shame really.

They dont like facts as usually they prove the fairytales they believe in to be wrong ;)

The difference between Milliband and Blair in terms of their respective ability to portray credibility and statesmanship is scary....shame Blair blew it with Iraq

The difference between Blair and all other prospective leaders is scary. He is so much better than them all even though his credibilty is shot to pieces.

His EU speech was superb.

I doubt even Glorious Gorgeous George could have delivered it with the elan of the big T.

Did he write the speech himself?

He spoke it himself if that helps.

Surprised he had the time considering how long he spends building up his property empire.

I like a good fact. Did you miss the one that states that no Labour government have ever left office with unemployment figures lower than when it started?

Brilliant speech by Blair on why we must remain in the EU.

If the EU is a major issue for you, watch his speech. Dont hate because its Blair but listen to what he says. He nails it big time.
Tony Blair the war criminal? The same Tony Blair who took us to war on a pack of lies? Tony Blair who doled out tax payers money to every scruffy lazy twat going? Think I'll leave it mate

Probably a good idea. It will be above your IQ ;)
Basically if you don't agree with someone's opinion you resort to name calling, dead impressive :)

Saw a good article on this today.

Essentially the answer is "that is true but it's pretty much the same for everybody". In fact the last Tory Government left office with unemployment up by 2% in real terms.

In a proper debate, the Tories and the Tory supporters should be using the fact that this is an extremely common occurrence to point at their policies this time around as working. Yet as ever with the football team politics, they're using them out of context to denigrate the other party instead.

"You stupid little proles need to learn your place. Decisions like membership of the EU are way over your insignificant little brains' abilities and should be left to your elders and betters whose snouts are in the Eurotrough ability is far greater than yours."

Yeah right. Great speech.

If only Big T were up against Cameron. A Labour landslide. He’d have the Tories for breakfast, dinner, tea. Day in, day out.

On a different note, how great to see A&E waiting times reduced drastically by Dave and his mates. All that investment in the NHS, all that end to top-down missives, it’s clear the health of this nation is in the best hands it could possibly be…hang on, what’s that, oh, you meant increased drastically. Those pesky patients. Never mind, The Telegraph, Mail and Sun will ensure we’re all told how it’s benefit claimants who’ve drank too much White Lightning clogging up the wards.

The NHS - have the letters made into a fridge magnet. Then, if this shower of right-wing idiots do win the election and all their business backers miraculously do well in the next five years, it will be a helpful reminder of what Labour does best - looking after the neediest; and what the Tories do best: looking after themselves.
