Brilliant speech by Blair on why we must remain in the EU.

If the EU is a major issue for you, watch his speech. Dont hate because its Blair but listen to what he says. He nails it big time.

There is clearly some demand for a referendum the EU.

Blair Misses one huge point that the left has previous for :

If a referendum decides we should come out of the EU should we just ignore the will of the people?

You can tell Stalin was a left winger Blair always put his personal views before the Country and how he as Prospered.

Have you had a long hard weekend mi amigo?

xxx

No how about you Flid?

Thank goodness the Conservative leader thinks our opinions are worth something, which is why he has promised us a referendum.

At times Urmston you are hilarious. Unintentionally hilarious mind.

Cameron does not give a toss about our opinions, he is shit scared of his far right nutjobs and UKIP.

Its a pity the big T cant be in the leaders debates, he would tear Cameron into little pieces

It's the Labour Party which is scared.

That's why it won't let us have a referendum.

While the Conservatives respect us and promise us a say in an important matter, Labour, the alleged peoples party, will deny the people a vote on it.

We shouldn't be surprised. Lefties often have a authoritarian streak and a contempt for the opinions of the common people. That's why many of them admire totalitarian communist regimes like Cuba, China and the old Soviet empire which never have or had any problems dealing with public opinion and free electorates.

I am not sure wheeling out Blair was that helpful for Labour, I mean of course we can trust a guy who sent us to war on the basis of a dossier that his Burnley supporting mate had written

'Burnleyism' coming from a man from Salford.
YCNMIU.

I'll always remember Blair and New Labour for getting rid of the only bit of the NHS I use most years.

NHS dentistry completely disappeared from my area in 2004 and I went to dentists ten miles away for over 6 years.

When the Tories took power NHS dentistry returned to my local area and now I only have to go a few hundred yards to my nearest NHS dentist.

Good to see that Blair's still making the counter argument to the one peddled by many nationalist Little Englanders that being a member of the EU is automatically a bad thing because Johnny Foreigner is involved. And I'm no fan of Blair.

Difficult to know how to vote when this country seems incapable of producing a political party that has both a keen sense of economic responsibility and a social conscience.

100 leading Doctors attack Government's NHS record in letter to Guardian.
On the day A&E waiting times are announced as the worst ever.
You can't trust the Tories with the NHS.

Blair didn't really make any argument at all. Like many pro-EU types he merely scaremongered about us leaving the EU.

He didn't actually say why we should stay in a political grouping which is the worst performing bloc in the world, with a failing single currency and very high unemployment, serious social and religious problems and where members are bickering about reparations for a war which ended 70 years ago.

It's nice to agree with you on something :)
