Guardian laying into Ed the Red and his gravestone pledge stunt.

This week has been superb for our PM.

Yep, George Osbourne and Harriet Harman went to the same indepent school. (Albeit split by gender)

Oops I thought it was Ed
Wrong again

Classic socialist hypocrisy.

My good friend is a socialist, grammar educated, 5 bedroom detached house, nice 13 plate Audi and of course a Guardian reader. Marvellous

Not sure any of that would for fill rascals criteria for a socialist

I obviously missed this gravestone thing, what has Ed done?

An interesting bit in Private Eye about the Labour poster with the xray of a broken leg. Some paediatric surgeon wrote in to say that he'd phoned Labour HQ to ask where the xray came from, as from his experience it showed a child's broken leg, but the break was consistent with physical abuse (he's got experience in this field). He wanted more info on it so he could phone the doctor dealing with the child to see if they'd got social services involved due to the nature of the break - he wanted to ensure that nothing was missed (memories of baby P). Rather obviously no one could tell him anything, but he's persisting with it.

I'm surprised they actually used a real xray, and even more surprised if consent wasn't given. Pretty piss poor from the party who are always banging on about saving the NHS. It's the kind of thing I'd expect from the Tories/Toffs.

All a bit dramatic really.

Labour hired an external agency. This external agency searched "broken leg bone" on Getty, one of the world's largest picture agencies and found the picture, then paid for the rights usage as anybody can do.

The connection from this specific picture to the Labour Party is tenuous at worst and tedious at best.

This isn't politics FFS, it's just nonsense.

The hash tag #edstone has never been so apt , what an absolute disaster of a week for Ed the Red.

Ah right. It's just a lost of things isn't it. Doesn't really say anything that some kid new to politics wouldn't say.

Labour , the party of segregation.

Already been posted mate by someone else.
It was pathetic then and it's just as pathetic now.

Just why is it pathetic I think it raises a valid point
Segregation is never acceptable especially when it enforces sexual stereotyping
The biggest backers of Labour wont like this one bit

So, so desperate for Ed to have a final week cock-up because he's shitting bricks over Cameron's lacklustre campaign. Is this the best you can do?

It's a cultural thing though isn't it. I have no idea how those women feel about not being allowed to sit with the fellas, probably happy! I do wonder what would happen if one of the women objected though?

How old is the picture though?

Should a party which claims it wants to take Britain forward to more fairness and diversity agree to let senior members speak to an audience segregated by sex?

Does Labour condone sex segregation?

They should have at least checked. Christ, they employ enough 'educated' types. I would suggest it isn't nonsense though, certainly not according to the paediatric surgeon.

Mind you, it won't affect my vote or anyone else's - oh, that surgeon said he wouldn't vote for them though!

Ed the Red has had an absolute nightmare this week, whilst the PM promised no tax raises for 5yrs , Ed begged Brand for his Twitter followers.

Ed got kicked to fuck by 2 women in the Leaders debate and lied at least twice before falling off stage .

To cap the week off , he's learnt stonemasonry and carved words that mean fuck all on a headstone , even the Guardian called this stunt brain dead.

Desperate nah , grateful for giving us this Kinnock moment, yes.
