Russell Brand is a twat but thanks for the endorsement for labour
Not such a joke decision to do the interview eh dave?
Don't most thespian/comedians/musicians support Labour anyway? I'd imagine his demographic would more than likely vote Labour/Greens?

He has long told his followers not to vote so for him to suddenly tell everyone of his million followers to vote for ed is a big change in his stance
It might not make too much difference but we'll see

I'm not sure it will cost the Tories any votes.

If anything it may make more inclined to vote any other party than Lanour.

Labour are doing very poor in the youth markets. This will move some young voters to them from the Greens or planning not to vote.

In an election this close every vote counts.
And turn many people who can't stand him to vote any other way.

A bit of soap and water wouldn't go a miss for the scruffy twat

Those people don't care about Brand, so he will have no influence over them either way.

The right wing press banged on about the Brand/Miliband interview being a risk. well, the Youtube views - David Cameron in kitchen with SunNation 141,000. Miliband in kitchen with Brand 1.75m seems to nail that argument.

I don't like Brand, but thousands do, and he's just endorsed Labour. Even the right wing bloggers are having difficulty finding the black cloud for Labour in that silver lining.

An unfortunate rush of blood....

So everything he claimed to stand for was just bollocks and the worm has turned on the basis of one chat with Ed.

What a joke.

I expect most of the people who viewed Brand/Miliband on Youtube did so to laugh at Miliband.

People making a fool of themselves often attract lots of Youtube hits.

I don't think you believe that.

russel brand is a joke. It was only the other day he was supporting the greens. So based on one interview he's changed his mind .....

He says Greens for Brighton, everyone else vote Labour

Anyone who votes for a Party because a "celebrity" tells them to should be banned from voting for life.
There should be some sort of test before someone is allowed to vote.

Universal sufferage may not have been wise.

Say you have no interest in politics. You can't be bothered to keep up with policies/personalities/permutations.. But you like a person who is in the limelight, and you learn how they are going to vote..

Is it better to not vote at all or follow the suit of the person who holds your admiration?

Genuinely not sure what would be best, with the pressure "the ability" to vote/democracy carries.

I admire you , so I'll vote for the Party you endorse , interesting thought.

I've changed my opinion on this , anyone who does the above should be shot.

so pretty much a whole year of saying dont vote, lets have a revolution..... he's changed his mind because of one interview. Ive watched that miliband barley answers any of his questions. How can anyone base there vote on what russel brand says.
