I try not to emulate people like Stephen Pollard, who come dangerously close to being hysterical on this subject and I'm not particularly a fan of David Baddiel who (I think) didn't originally see the problem with Spurs fans using the word 'Yid'. His book 'Jews Don't Count' is a polemic in many ways but hits a few nails squarely on the head. I'd recommend reading it if you genuinely want to start to understand the issue. But you don't do you? You derive great satisfaction from telling victims of racism, albeit subtle, that they're not victims of racism but without any understanding of the relevant issues

As always a fair point, but surely you can see the irony of accusing those apparently persecuting or supporting those of supporting a religion as cultists. Religion or a culture born out of religion is basically a cult. Obviously some cults are worse than others etc.

I haven't said Diane's views are okay in fact they are downright daft, it didn't even make historical sense, British history post war was full of informal arrangements against black people (Bristol omnibus company). There isn't any difference between telling a gypsy they can't come in a pub and saying the same thing to a black person or a jew.

I have no desire to watch or read anything produced by Baddiel.
