Chips?? I'm not a cockney. Only place I've ever seen chips on a brekkie is in London.Odd people.

3 bacon, 2 sausage, 2 fried eggs, 2 hash browns, fried bread, tin' tomatoes, beans, black pudding (thinly cut). 2 toast to mop up with and a tea. brown sauce of course.

I will be having something like that at the pub next Sunday before we pop off to that little game we're playing.

2 eggs (duck)
2 bacon (Duchy originals unsmoked back)
2 sausage (Black Farmer or Musk Newmarket)
1 round of fried bread
Mushrooms

Black Pudding (Bury Black Pudding Co)

All fried in beef dripping in a old blackened frying pan and washed down with a pot of freshly made Yorkshire Tea.

Re: The Great British Fry-up

Slightly healthier late morning brekkie i made at the weekend:

1 tbsp olive oil
2 red onions , chopped
1 red chilli, deseeded and finely chopped
1 garlic clove , sliced
small bunch coriander , stalks and leaves chopped separately
2 400g cans cherry tomatoes
1 tsp caster sugar
4 eggs
Chorizo Sausage
Mushrooms

Heat the oil in a frying pan that has a lid, then soften the mushrooms, chorizo, onions, chilli, garlic and coriander stalks for 5 mins until soft. Stir in the tomatoes and sugar, then bubble for 8-10 mins until thick. Can be frozen for 1 month.
Using the back of a large spoon, make 4 dips in the sauce, then crack an egg into each one. Put a lid on the pan, then cook over a low heat for 6-8 mins, until the eggs are done to your liking. Scatter with the coriander leaves and serve with crusty bread.
