The Great British Rip off

Literally not that much different to the vast majority of bars/pubs in Manchester city centre. Outside of Wetherspoons, the Piccadilly Tavern, Sinclair's Oyster Bar, the Lower Turks Head (now that Holts have it), the Hare And Hounds, and that rotten stuff they serve in Wave Bar and Sachas, you won't be paying much less, if at all. I've sometimes even found London pub prices to be cheaper than some Manchester bars in recent years when doing an away game down The Smoke.
Is Sachs’s still open?

Was out in London on Sat night.
Very quiet people are getting fucked off paying 42 quid for 4 drinks.Cheaper to have people round and a few bottles and cans from Tescos.Hospitality is in for a rough old ride.
This is the way forward, invite a few friends round with some cans and you can have just as much fun as in a pub.

Hospitality at the Crown Oil Arena tonight - ticket, programme, pie 'n peas, refreshments at HT and MotM ceremony at FT - £18!

Yeah…..but what type of pie?? To pay homage to that old Wigan joke.
I’m assuming that a woman is not included in that £18 price??

More fun……not many pubs where you can do “Naked Twister”….. not in Somerset anyway…….

This is it, pubbing and clubbing is for the kids really when you're going out to pick up women. Older blokes meeting in a quieter pub to talk shit, they can do that in somebody's house or garden at a fraction of the price.

Is that not the Wetherspoons model?? Old blokes, cheap beer, no loud music and the biggest load of shite ever spoken. Or is that just the Wetherspoons in Wells, Somerset??
I don’t go as they have a NO DOGS rule. Plenty of dog friendly pubs that have exactly the same offer at the moment.
Future of the traditional pub looks bleak.
