The greatest sportsman EVER

IMO nobody comes close!!!!

Michael Jordan, Tiger Woods and Usain Bolt

Jordan - The greatest ever.

Woods - Would hold the record for the most majors if it wasn't for injuries and personal issues.

Bolt - Unbeatable, if he runs a 100m race flat out that record will stand for the next 30 years i'm saying thats at the very least which is something for the 100m.

Mentions: Pele, Maradona, Bryant, Chamberlain, Federer, Sampras, Ali, Mayweather.

I really want to say Redgrave, but he isn't the only one contributing to each gold medal won, is he? Not dismissing what he did, as it is a truly outstanding achievement, one most likely to never be beaten but its more a case of 4 men, a unit, rather than a feat of individual skill. I know others, like cricketers or footballers are also part of a team, but they do things individually in their respective sports, whereas Redgrave and his crew are just that, a crew. Finding it hard to not pick him though.

Who do you think it is pound for pound for what they have done in their respective sports?

My 3 would be

Tiger Woods, Phil Taylor, Muhammad Ali

I dont remember Ali and have only seen fights on youtube/DVD's etc, because of this i've had to narrow it down to Woods & Taylor.

I decided to go for the Power, for what he has won & what he has done for darts - Unreal.

Sachin Tendulkar by a long distance.

The list is endless really & is generally who appeals to you..

For starters i would have.

Lester piggot
Don bradman
Tiger woods
Carl lewis
Ayrton senna
Steve redgarve
