And this makes a difference? As we saw at Anfield, they still have to be put away.
Yet a near God in Scotland...
Very much wanted for him to be a great player for us, was a big signing for us at the time and he did try, mostly. I remember talking to a Dutch lad at work when we signed him and he told me we got the wrong one, he only looked good because he had a teammate who set him up constantly, can't remember for the life of me who that was though.
Good luck to him in whatever he does next.
Feel free to check his record, for his sake I'm not posting it here but it is extremely poor, even in Scotland it isn't as great as you might think. Christ I could say Corradi was shit on here and someone would jump to his defence.
Static? He was electric on his debut. Good luck to him in the future.
The season we played the quarter final midweek, to quote from the BBC:I remember fans pinning all hopes on him when we were shite. I remember him getting injured 2 days before our FA cup Quarter final with West Ham and fans were gutted and going mad at Pearce for playing him. Like he would have made any difference!
I hear he has signed for - GECHe was electric on his debut. Good luck to him in the future.
Klaas-Jan Huntelaar? - scored a shed load for Ajax which earned him a brief spell at Real Madrid.
42 goals in 76 appearances for the Netherlands as well - your Dutch mate was right!
I used to call him 'Salmonass'.Best description I ever heard was "one minute he looks a world beater, the next a panel beater".
they had to give someone some stick it in there DNAPlayed out of position by a wank manager. When played up top, he scored some super goals, including our last 2 home goals of 2007, came on and won us the game.
Still plenty of fans blast him, making them bigger blues.
