Pure unadulterated dogshit - even within an era of dross ! And he even had the cheek to wear white boots to draw attention to himself ! If anyone in the world ever stole a living at any occupation, it was this bloke. Dog & Duck 2nd XI was his true level

No he wasn’t anywhere near a god in Scotland or anywhere else. He made no impression for Celtic. He struggled to match Gerry Creaney if the truth be known.
Bollocks. I grew up watching Gerry and he was ok, but nowhere near the class or made the same impact of big Samny. He just wasn’t. Samny is a Celtic legend on merit. Créaney is nowhere near that.
