The Green Party

If you didn't feed the term 'hard left' to it in your prompt, I'll eat every hat in my house. It literally puts quotes around the term.

I just asked ChatGPT to describe his political philosophy, and at no point did it mention 'hard left' or 'far left.' It mentioned left wing and populist. Your post seems like it's answering something along the lines of "Why is Zack Polanski considered part of the hard left?"
Just 'Is Zak Polanski hard left?' Try it yourself on Google AI - the reply is 100% accurate.

It also gives reasons why Starmer is left wing
It also gives reasons why Starmer is right wing
Ya daft donk:-)
If you're basing your evidence on leading questions on AI i will leave you too it.
Are you ashamed of being a Marxist? I was one of the revolutionary students who occupied the LSE in 1968 and my first degree included their unified social science course aka as 'the Marxist modules'. Alas the fervour gradually subsided as the real world intruded and I have now been refined and reprioritised - as they say - the ECHR is a living instrument.

TNS reports that the day before his victory, Polanski spoke to Corbyn on the phone. When asked about the substance of this conversation, he said: “What I’ve been saying is the same thing I’ve been saying publicly: that I believe the Green Party right now is the best movement for growing a green left…

You can see from that why established Green Party figures like Caroline Lucas & Jenny Jones are dismayed by his election. He didn't forewarn his opponents Ellie Chowns & Adrian Ramsay or former co-leader Carla Denya (all MPs) of his intention to run until after the May elections. Zak's self-proclaimed "eco-populist" programme is designed to provide a home for disaffected voters on the left by confronting “Reform millionaires” and “charlatans like Nigel Farage” and instituting measures like a 'wealth tax'. It is a far cry from the centrist nature conservation agenda the Greens have promoted until now and I fear their distinct voice in the battle against Trumpist climate change deniers may be lost in what their party will become under his domination.

Very quickly

1) I'm not a Marxist I can only think of one poster on this forum that gets anywhere near, i was an alright jack type a few years back so that description was amusing to me. Im late to the more socially responsible way of thinking. I admit i was wrong previouslyv but have held onto the personal responsibility part of my thinking.
2) The Green Party had a vote, he won, its a democracy, the polls up to this point suggest it was the right decision for the green party.
3) The membership vote on policy its not a dictatorship of Polanski
4) A wealth tax or taxing wealthier people in general is not a hard left policy
5) To be extreme hard left at the minimum you would need to be a fully blown communist imho, he isnt anywhere near that.
6) You won't ever agree or vote for the guy but I am hoping for the day we stop using wholly exaggerated descriptions of people from all sides of the political spectrum. Im not even a huge fan of left or right but I concede ive used both.

Well I am still a Marxist at heart and can happily sing all the verses of the Socialist ABC. Polanski like Farage is a creature of the post Trumpian political landscape, it's like Narcissus and his reflection! Two economically illiterate populists feeding their own egos!
I voted Green and not Labour for the only time of my life when the communist led big unions installed Jezzer and if they replace Starmer with another patsy that sadly won't be an option now.
