I've started to learn on my mate's acoustic and I'm determined to get through the pain with my fingers on the fretboard. I can play the intro to Everybody Hurts and a very punky version of she'll be coming round the mountain.

Dip your fingers in warm salt water.They will toughen up in no time.
Then you can play till your heart is content ;)

I play, iv been saving up for a decent guitar, currently have an Adam Black acoustic and an Ibanez RG, im thinking of getting a rickenbacker 330 but at the moment I have no way near enough money. I also have a pretty good boss me-50 effects pedal.

and pearcey, I too have an audition on wednesday for the busking thing, good luck with it mate.

I used to have a Rickenbacker 360. It was the best electric guitar I've ever had. Would love to get another one day when I can afford it... Maybe a 330 in Jetglo.

I'm not sure to be honest mate, it said in the email that it would last an hour and a half, so I wouldn't imagine there would be too many people. im just trying to decide whether to play one of my own songs or a cover, haha

I always use this one :

Pick from the alphabet at the top, find the artist you want, click then find the song in standard tab (not power tab etc). I only ever use the one's with plenty of 5* ratings because these will be the most accurate.
