It's impossible to make a Takamine sound bad. Thats a general observation, btw, and not a critique of your playing, GD ;)

As for the Warlock... all fine and well, but... bring some EMGs to the party, and we can dance ;)

(plug this into a Marshall JCM900 4102, turn gain to 10, master volume to somewhere after 12 o'clock, everything else is then for you to enjoy)

What types of music do you guys prefer playing?

Jazz/Melodic Rock/Metal for me, in that order.

Back in the seventies, I played bass in a four piece band (60's & 70's pop), I had a Fender Jazz bass, it was the pooch's plums. Then, in the 80's, I played rhythm guitar in a duo with a mate of mine and I had a Westone Thunder 3 Active. That was THE best guitar I've ever had. It was stolen when my mate's house got robbed on Buxton Lane, Droylsden, about 1984 :-( Then, in the nineties, I was in a duo with my sister. (we used to play the Embassy Club every five weeks!! Ooh!! Fame at last!) and I played a Fender Stratocaster Plus and I've still got that, it's a beauty, made in U.S.A. in metalic sky blue. My amp is a Peavey.

I've recently gotten an Aerodyne Strat:

and use a nasty Fender Frontman 15G Amp which I'm thinking of replacing soon. It really kills the sound compared with the better stuff that a mate has. Looking for a new multi-pedal soon too, but I'm waiting to get the new amp.

I'm trying to finish learning Emerald Eyes by Eric Johnson at the mo, after giving up on Cliffs of Dover.

Any other guitarists around?

i'll tell you who is rubbish on guitar......................tevez, the jury's still out !
