Any guitarists out there?

What setup do you guys have?
Learnt anything good recently?


I've recently gotten an Aerodyne Strat:

and use a nasty Fender Frontman 15G Amp which I'm thinking of replacing soon. It really kills the sound compared with the better stuff that a mate has. Looking for a new multi-pedal soon too, but I'm waiting to get the new amp.

I'm trying to finish learning Emerald Eyes by Eric Johnson at the mo, after giving up on Cliffs of Dover.

Any other guitarists around?

I play. I've got an audition at City next week for the busking thing.

I've got a Taylor 210 & a Guild GAD-20M

I also have a Squier Custom Telecaster with P90 pickups.

I've started to learn on my mate's acoustic and I'm determined to get through the pain with my fingers on the fretboard. I can play the intro to Everybody Hurts and a very punky version of she'll be coming round the mountain.

I play, iv been saving up for a decent guitar, currently have an Adam Black acoustic and an Ibanez RG, im thinking of getting a rickenbacker 330 but at the moment I have no way near enough money. I also have a pretty good boss me-50 effects pedal.

Am awaiting delivery of new customised Gordon Smith Graduate Lite that I ordered at the G show at CIS.
These are great guitars, hand built in Partington. Highly recommended. Half the price of equivalent Gibbo.

Failed guitarist so now I play bass - it has less strings and if you play with a good drummer you'll sound great too! Right - I'm off to practice Ice Ice Baby again. I almost got it right last time

I have an old Ibanez Roadstar 2 which I've recently done up with a lovely mirrored scratch-plate and a set of Duncan Pups (B-Jeff Beck Jnr, M-Quaterpounder, N-L'il '59) Have two coil tap switches for my two humbuckers. Sounds sweet. Plus I sanded it down and stained it Holly Green. Lovely.

My amp is an old Peavey Ultra 120 which despite the name is 100 watt all valve amp but I have no footswitch for it so it's permanently stuck on the Ultra chanel (no good for a little SRV noodling) so I've sent some plans to a guy who will hopefully make me a bespoke footswitch.

Also have a slightly naff, but cheap, Tanglewood acoustic which is an Ovation copy and sounds as bad as an Ovation too ;) But it does the job for practising.

I'd love to put pics up here but I'll need to find a site to host them first.

I used to have a Rickenbacker 360. It was the best electric guitar I've ever had. Would love to get another one day when I can afford it... Maybe a 330 in Jetglo.
