The point about wanting anything he says to remain private was that conversations he's had with them previously has immediately ended up in the press.

Either way, I don't get the hatred many have for Harry and Megan nor praise. That also goes for the other side.

People seem more concerned about Harry and William then did with what Andrew was getting up to.

Only watched a bit of it, but wasn’t the whole point of that bit that his private conversations with them were ending up in the papers?

So the summary of the interview is basically that the royal family is so scared of fading into irrelevance and/or the press turning on them that they continually throw their own in front of a bus in order to make themselves a soap opera with villains and goodies that people talk about.

Now he’s out, he might as well show everyone what’s going on behind the curtain because the current system did for his mum and nearly his wife.


I think this is a pretty bad interview for anyone trying to portray him as bitter, immature, insolent etc.

didn't really need this interview to tell William seems a bit of a bellend and his marriage looks loveless and another royal heir producing farce.

however the levels and oddness of this institution really is an embarrasment to a modern nation

As the fan base of a football club that is regularly unfairly derided with fake stories and idiotic spin by certain sections of the media, it’s difficult to argue with anything he said about the press. And it’s the press that was and always has been the main target of his disgruntlement. The fact that it’s clear that his family regularly throw him under a bus to maintain their own position with the press must hurt.

You would have to be lying to yourself if you really don’t believe that the Monarchy feed the media narrative and will via ‘Royal insiders’ say and publish anything in order to protect the institution

Harry is one tough lad taking this battle on and its remarkable how many emphasis with what he says considering the daily barrage of lies and hatred he has to deal with from the UK Media and social media cunts
