The Harry and Meghan fuss

He never did Sky - left BBC 2021 and did a short ill fated stint at gee bee bees

He did Sky.

Had an affair with Hurley Burley who got him booted off the channel for having the audacity of binning her off.

I miss his sarcastic TV persona but he burned his bridges when he joined the Gammon News Network and that decision pretty much ended his career.

I believe this to be with the cooperation, support, and instruction of the royal family. One word from Charles, and all of it stops.
It should be that simple but even the King can’t stop the tabloids he’s trapped in his role, if he wants to live in castles and be worshipped by the people, then the family have to do what they are told by the nameless suits in Whitehall. sacraficing Harry in order to make Charles and Camilla plus William look good.

I came across a picture but decided best left out incase it was false, delighted if he managed to see his family without the usual press intrusion. He got an apology for Diana that would mend a few bridges.

Its because of Harry and Meghan. The same Murdoch press and Tory run BBC will overlook achievements by our wounded vets because of prejudice yet the same press is full of woe that kids won't sign up to serve their country - wonder why eh lads? The same vets who are amputee's and injured in other ways are lauded otherwise when the compete in the paralympics and Gt North Runs and London Marathons or who sail the Atlantic or climb a peak by the BBC then - its fucking shameful

The truth is, as Iraq and Afghanistan fade into history, the invictus games have less of a draw on the public imagination. I'm not saying that is good, but it's just how it is. The other events you mention are and have been covered by the BBC anyway, and I suppose it's just easier for the amputee vets to get a mention in those.
