(Not) surprised no one in the media has mentioned Spurs weakening this summer. While all other big clubs are going out and making additions to freshen up and cope with the number of competitions, Spurs have literally only sold an England regular who has been in the team of the season two years running. Honestly, they've gotten worse. And now looks like Trippier may miss some time.

Admittedly, I’m in a small minority, but I’ve always preferred Tottenham to Arsenal or Chelsea, (and yes I do remember the hostility at the Wembley replay in 81)

However, we’ve always complained when Guardiola’s quotes have been taken out of context, so it’s only fair to note that Levy’s recent comments were made in relation to the cost of their stadium expansion.

Ultimately, this is the main reason why Tottenham can’t go mad in the transfer market, and I suspect this will hamper their spending for the next couple of seasons.

However, if they still finish in the Top Four, then we should step back and applaud.

Yes, Spurs have really neglected their responsibilities this window. The media are livid. Where will they get all their copy? City, Liverpool, United, Chelsea, Arsenal and even Everton have provide plenty of stories. But Spurs? Nothing.
