Yes, Spurs have really neglected their responsibilities this window. The media are livid. Where will they get all their copy? City, Liverpool, United, Chelsea, Arsenal and even Everton have provide plenty of stories. But Spurs? Nothing.

Why should the media dictate who a football club buys? We will make signings this window, at least 2 IMO but what's the point of just buying someone for the sake of it?

We don't have the revenue or backing to compete with richer clubs, so have to do it a different way. I really don't see why this is so hard to grasp.

I'd agree with that. But the Spuds fans I know won't have a bad word said about Levy. Strange bunch.

He has made his mistakes no doubt but he has transformed us from back in the days of Sugar. He needs to worry about the commercial side and stadium because that's where the money is so we can try and close the gap on richer clubs.

Admittedly, I’m in a small minority, but I’ve always preferred Tottenham to Arsenal or Chelsea, (and yes I do remember the hostility at the Wembley replay in 81)

However, we’ve always complained when Guardiola’s quotes have been taken out of context, so it’s only fair to note that Levy’s recent comments were made in relation to the cost of their stadium expansion.

Ultimately, this is the main reason why Tottenham can’t go mad in the transfer market, and I suspect this will hamper their spending for the next couple of seasons.

However, if they still finish in the Top Four, then we should step back and applaud.
