Don't like Zenit, but fair play for having a go and signing two terrific players. Huge outlay, yeah. Turns out Spalletti did sign for actual sporting ambition, not just for a lot of moolah))
Zenit had Bruno Alves before these two guys, and a whole bunch of Korean players in the past. Love how a small (albeit very vocal) minotiry of morons in the stands and lazy hipster types in the "western" media create a really funny image for an entire fanbase. Even funnier that, if you actually know anything about the hisroty of St Petersburg and the actual attitudes of the loclas towards "evil" foreigners of "wrong" colour. But if one batsh!t mental moron showcases a rather wrong way of using a banana - theyr're all a bucnh of commie vodka-swingin' racist radicals there. Sorted.

The player canarinha'''' was replaced during the match of Champions'''' against AC Milan, when the Russian team dominated the scoring 0-1, and declined to greet the coach after the change. "If the situation is not resolved coach, I have to leave a door open for a move in January," said striker to local media.
Despite the demonstration of the footballer, Spalletti downplayed the conflict with the striker. "All great players react that way when they are replaced. Important thing is we won the game," remarked the Italian official website of Zenit.
The Brazilian, who signed from Porto for 60 million euros, is playing his first season with the Russian club and has already sparked some controversy in the locker room. Some players of Zenit, as Denisov, declared that international pentacampeona had a disproportionate salary.
The Russian champions AC Milan overcame thanks to a goal from Portuguese midfielder Danny Alves in the 35th minute, which certified team ranking as third in Group C, a post that gives a place to the Russian side to contest the Europa League.
