It does work in IE. Have you got JavaScript disabled?

JavaScript is not disabled Ric. I am now logged in on Chrome and the "missing" bar is now there above text box. So it must be some issue with IE for me.

Open to suggestions as I am not keen on chrome.

Not for me Karen. At least I know Im not going mad as it appeared where I thought it should be when I logged in in Chrome.

I am using Android on my mobile. I miss the 'top' button left of every post and I don't get the full menu in the blue bar at the bottom of each page.

A few people seem to be missing bits and pieces,i must have just got lucky with the changes

Yes mate. I'm back in IE11 and have checked that. I have had 1 or 2 problems with websites freezing recently. I think I will delete and reinstall IE just encase it is corrupted.

I've just logged into IE8 at work (yes I know, but we have no choice), and its showing there ok, so it must be something in your brower. Have you tried the age old clearing cache and cookies ?
