The idiocy (and selfishness) of panic buying

The supermarkets are fucking useless, they should be imposing limits on the number of items one person can buy and if necessary hire the security to enforce it.
The problem with that is, i agree in principal btw, people just take more family members so that bypasses the one person limits. Technically it is 3 or whatever people but if 12yo timmy his mum and sister all go in and buy seperately there is not much a shop can do to stop that. Security wise there are legal issues with stopping people physically i think or at least they can't hire enough security to police their rules. What is one security chap on minimum wage going to do in the face of 4-5 blokes ransacking a shelf? Even 3-4 security can't police a glut of customers at once. The shops are a bit helpless as we can't expect a 60 odd yo checkout lady to tell an on edge 40yo chap he can't have xyz.

Most places should be ok with extra security but the hotspots would probably need trained riot police to keep things in check.

Nothing left apart from Panadol extra. The people near me must be just tight bastards when it comes to stock piling. All cheap stuff gone, the more expensive stuff left there.
I noticed that too. The expensive branded bog roll and flour were last to sell out. Worst possible virus - bulk buying tight arses.

Called in Tesco when passing for some liquid refreshment, looked as though it had been robbed, all the previous mentioned missing and the one that tickled me was potatoes - not one spud to be seen.
Chap checking out in front of me had 50 packets at £1.50 a go.
Plenty of booze and some chocolate for a her, starting to think I'm going to starve to death before the virus gets me.

I forget where I heard it but I'm pretty sure I heard that you can milk a cat. Our Jim wasn't impressed when I tried but I'm sure he'll come around.
I suppose he was relieved you weren't using him as toilet paper or trying to eat or sexualy abuse him.
