The idiocy (and selfishness) of panic buying

My wife and I shall not demeanor ourselves with the abject greed and gluttony of the masses, but rather shall spend our afternoon eloquently sipping gin and listening to songs that lift of the spirit. I tell you this deep from the heart brother's that There Will Always Be An England and no Viral upstart will usurp that what was non achievable in two world wars. We both remember the sacrifices our parents made so that we could live on in safety and be free from tyrannical forces and quite frankly they would turn in their graves to see the selfish antics unfolding before our eyes.

I think they call it "Me Me Me" syndrome and I dread to think what would have happened if the Titanic had of sank today. Most would be in the lifeboats with hairnets wigs and lippie crying "row you bastards " in high pitched voices leaving us olden folk and woman to meet our ghastly demise. So what are you all going to do to redress the balance because if we do not meet this new enemy head on as one unified nation then this fine sceptered isle of ours may well disappear into the dark dank abyss of time. It's times like this that poetry and music can unite us to rise up to the challenge and fight the good fight better than any roll of Andrex ever could.

I see the audience below unified as one single entity, bayonets affixed, primed and ready to take on the might of this viral monstrosity : /
