It does appear that wine is now being bought more vigorously, which is a worry.I've made sure the wine rack is remaining at full capacity just in case.

The panic is suiting the food retailers at the mo, are they creating a panic by not filling the shelves?
We use a particular brand of hand soap that's normally £2 a bottle, not seen any since last week, so thought I could order a couple of bottles from amazon, £16 a bottle on there, its not necessarily panic buying its people just being greedy twats. Each and every person who has done this is a **** of the very highest order. If you are one you are a selfish disgrace.

Bloody should do, village my missus works in has small supermarket over the road (its a chain, so likely a franchise operation), her colleague went in yesterday, and they had toilet roll, of the shitty cheap variety, normally a couple of £ for 4, they were charging £6.50 yesterday, she asked the guy on the till why, he held his hands up and said "not my decision", that sort of stuff really grinds my gears.police must be able to look into all this
a local shop for local people?
Did you get out ok?

So the elderly who are now told to only go out for essentials, and have probably supported their "local store" for years are being ripped off by greedy twats like that store owner.
