No bloody fuel near me. Morrison's had a delivery yesterday but sold out in 3 hours. Doesn't help that half the petrol stations have closed over the last few years. Enough for about 40 miles. Can't be arsed wasting it driving around trying to find some.

Sadly the traditional British sense of fair play and good manners has well and truly passed. Now its every fat tattooed git for themselves.
The media stir up a panic, social media amplifies it massively and the 'me me me' instinct is triggered.
Retailers gouge the public instead of sensibly limiting supply. The Government as usual sit on their fat useless arses and tut tut at the situation whilst doing sweet fa and blaming everyone else.
This Country is seriously fucked.

I hear a lot of this: read something else then, as if it somehow absolves that paper of the need to actually tell the truth. This paper, among others, repeatedly lied to the nation and may have influenced the result of the vote that now sees an economic and social shit show unfurl before our eyes.

And I hear a lot of this, and the reply, made on here about a thousand times, is that it's illegal to print lies in a newspaper.
You are reading a publications opinion on actual events quoted/referred to, don't like them, so call them lies.
I could, if I were one of the press haters, pick snippets from all the left wing papers, and call them liars, it's easy, but not so easy to sell to a judge.

Anyone hear the woman on 5live at approx 9am? Interviewed outside a petrol
station in altrincham that had a queue outside waiting for a tanker to fill the tanks up with fuel. Older Woman i would say .
“well i was driving along and saw the tanker and noticed people following it so i thought i better follow it too and im in the queue now. Ive got 1/2 a tank of fuel but if i fill up itll last me a month.”
