I’ve been watching City for fucking years and years – ive been to more away games than I can remember and spent thousands and thousands of both £ and hours

As for the CS – go, don’t go – im not arsed all I was saying is starting a conversation thread why I wasn’t going – Didn’t realize so many mongs would get their knickers in a twist about it

It was a comment on the way the football fan isn’t getting forgotten in all the money grabbing hullaballoo – If people wanted to turn that into an im bluer than you are then fair enough. If you need other fans reconition so much take what you can

I can 100% sure that most of the folk giving out to me haven’t done as much as I have over the years, and if you have stood shoulder to shoulder with me at places like Barnsley, Derby, Southend and so on then you of all people should know City are City – it isnt about the big name games for us – we’ve been there and put our shift on. City don’t run my life, ive been doing this for too long now

As I said I m a city lover, not a united hater – im not arsed if its united or Stafford Rovers – People need to get over this red obbssesion…….

Anyone who is going to Wembley is obsessed with United?

Don't give me that fucking rubbish...it's like you're gonna complain if we sell out.

You sure you're a blue?
For the last time – im not arsed if people go or not…..go, don’t go for whatever reason either way…….im personally not and the reason I stated was I don’t agree with the way the FA are exploiting the football fan

That’s just me, Im stubborn but after 20 years of having a season ticket and as soon as we start getting good it cost me and arm and a leg to watch the blues ive just said enough is enough.

Ive done my time on the shop floor, ive spent my money. You Liam sound like a young lad, and fair play if you need this game this much then go. Ive been there and done it. Ive been to more derby games than I can remember and everyone gets touted as more important than the last – 99 was and will be the best football match I have ever been to. I genuinely don’t think winning the Champs League would match that…....

Anyhoo – I wish I had never started all this now

I'm 32. Hardly had the chance to go to Wemberlee during my time watching City.. I'm taking EVERY chance I can now that we are.

I will never devalue anything if there is a cup at the end of it. Even the Manchester Senior Cup :)

I hope fans make the journey to Wemberlee, big support for our club that is progressing nicely.

Do you go to the Snr Cup games?

I for one will def be going! I havent even read this thread in total as i disagree with blues that can afford to, and are available to go but are choosing not to! This time five years ago I would have cut my balls off and ate them if it meant I could go and see them at wembley! Just because I have seen them twice in the past few months doesnt change that! It really scares me that many of our blues are turning into the same type of glory hunting scum like the rags! It pains me to say that but if we cannot sell this game out it will seriously be embarrasing!! Sorry for the moan but it really gets me annoyed! I'm sure many of these fans that are not going are the ones that were slagging the club off due to the way the semi and final tickets were distributed! Simply whinning when they cannot get one but when they can they still dont go!!

I didnt realize this till you pointed it out but Im a just like an armchair united fan.....wowzer....that revelation has rocked me to my foundations.....I thought going up and own the county for years and years watching us get spanked by teams even worse than us would mean i could be accepted into the fold - obviously not, I need to be getting down to london for a chairty shield match....And here was me thinking that watching hours and hours of drab, dire football matches was enough.....You fucking idiot.....have you heard yourself....As soon as we got succesful I stop going to games and your saying im an armchair fan...??? do you understand how glory hunting works? because im pretty sure its not watch them when their shit then stop when their good. I might be wrong though

I'm a United fan ( sick of starting every post like this now and will stop after this one ! ) who went to Wembley last year in the SF of the FA Cup and the Final of the European Cup.
Wont be going to Wembley for the Charity Shield and neither will the other 14 lads that I travelled to both the previous matches with.
For me, even though it's City, it's still just a pre-season friendly and I wont be wasting my cash on travelling down there again so soon after.
