I just want us to win ever trophy, every cup we enter into. If I had to choose yeh there is more important trophies out there but it's still a derby and still a trophy ive not seen City win and if we lose you no for a fact those u****d fans will spout there rubbish. It's getting one over them and us coming home with our second trophy in under 3 months.

All the shit the players done last year and now that's it is it? thanks for winning us our first trophy in 35 years, we're alright now as long as we don't have to wait another 35. It's not like we're playing chelsea is it. Pardon the interruption, but if that lot win it, don't they equal Liverpool's total trophy haul? Not particularly a reason to want us to win, but an added pinch of spice nonetheless. Sadly, I'm away so cannot attend. If I was here, I'd have a ticket without question. Come on City; get the season off to a flyer!

But I'm not taking a weekend out to go to Wembley for this. No way. I've got kids and I'll save my brownie points with the Mrs for a game that matters. Like the CL aways. For me it isn't the cash but the time. And the fucking hassle.

We're not the City of old any more who only care about getting a freak result against big bad United every now and again. We've finally caught them up, I think overtaken them, for the first time in 20 years and we've got bigger fish to fry than this game.

I'll watch it on the box, I'll cheer if we score and be pleased to win it. But my excitement/delight/disgust/anger levels will be about on a par with a carling cup second round first leg tie against Huddersfield.
