The Independent Group

Maybe, maybe not. TIG changes the dynamic as it can be used by MPs who are still in either main party as leverage. Also whilst this poll is well overblown, Labour leadership is suddenly finding the idea of a second ref a lot more attractive than they did a week or so back.

Reminds me of the last supper - when JC made reference to Judas, sadly a whole table of the fockers, there.
I wonder how many receipts were asked for? and how may claims will be going in?

next election they will all get voted out hopefully. there is no appetite imo for a centrist, blair like government. people across europe want alternative parties not the same old shite.
I think most people would prefer the "old shite" to what we have now tbh. Thatcher, Blair, Major, Brown - these were heavyweight "proper" politicians not the utter dross we have now.

Although the way our electoral system is constructed, it's likely their party will gain hardly any seats, I do agree with that bit.

Most people in this country are centrist in some form, but FPTP militates against the commons reflecting this. If we had proportional rep, I guess the result would be something like Lab 25%, Cons 25%, Center 30%, Others 20%.

There will be the appetite, I imagine, once we get to the end of the current mess we are in.

Moderate politics look incredibly appetising currently.

Changing their name again.

Their corporate masters have been to their focus group and decided they will be called Change UK as a new political party. This weeks leader is Heidi Allen.

"If we are to deliver on our ambition to change politics for the better, it is vital that we attract support from people from every walk of life, every political background and none."

I hear they passed on their first preference, Starbucks UK.

How f**king depressing that we have this reheated shit in 2019.

At least now I can collectively despise the shower of cunts as an actual party not just some corporate backed rabble
