this is on sky sports....typical rag comment, he obviously knows fuck all about football if he thinks our midfield needs to be improving. Personally i think we've got a class midfield and this rag twat needs to have a look at his own teams shite midfield:-

scholes...fletcher....carrick....giggs

now you've got to agree lads this is a class midfield..my mistake...lol

i kinda see what your saying but at least etoo has pace and plenty of it which is vital in this league

To be fair if we had the quality of those 4 in our squad I'd be more than happy.

to coin you're own phrase... tosspot! ;)
He has no point whatsoever. The "mediocre" players as he calls them; Jo et al, will be loanded/sold. The quality players we sign will play and not get upset, the ones that aren't good enough might and if they do, they'll get in line and prove themselves or they'll move on.

If you think its our midfield that needs strengthening i'd advise you look again.

I think he has half a point regarding fitting all the players in and keeping them happy. RSC, Bellamy, Tevez and Eto if confirmed, and Robinho will all be Hughes signings (rob debate to one side). I reckon thats 5 players for 3 positions and not taking into account Big Phil who it seems we want to stay and Boj. Evans i reckon can go to the highest bidder.

Now thats obviously a good problem to have EXCEPT all of them i think would kick up a strop if they spend anytime at all on the bench. All top clubs need it of course and we should be happy that players are dissapointed to only be on the bench. Thats why i said half a point.
