Spursmad: I reckon the one assurance that would relax us all, would be for you to confirm that City are willing to add Eto'o's loyalty bonus onto his signing on fee should Barca refuse to pay it. Can you confirm whether City are fully prepared to do this if push came to shove?
If it costs us £25m plus a £13m fee to Eto'o (£38m in total), it still seems worth it to me. It's a similar price to what the likes of Aguero and co would cost.
Personally, i can only see this deal being the 100% formality that Spursmad claims it is, if City are willing to cough up the loyalty bonus. If not, surely there is still the chance that he will run his contract down at Barca?
