The "Just got back" from Barnsley thread..

Did anyone else spot the two inbred twats in the Barnsley end [left of our end] giving it large all game long? Has anyone seen two more backwards looking people than them? Very disturbing.

Performance reminded me very much of watching Arsenal. Lots of nice passing and flicks, but very little penetration. Looking forward to Barry coming back and RSC.

Was a good atmosphere from the Blues for a friendly and nice ticket set up from Barnsley [£10, pay on the day].

Overall, good day. Not a good performance but this is a friendly game. Glad I went.
 
i got back about 6.30 , good day out , barnsley fans werent even there (didnty sound like it anyway). good turnout from us lot , i thought it was a quality game , win or lose its only a friendly its just the way you go about the game , in which we did well, some cracking movement , everyone went for it , some great solo performances, we actually played very well, it could easily have been about 8-0 before they scored, too much passing and too many touches in the area.

They were the only ons I could hear before they scored.

Can't wait for Tevez, he isn't afraid to shoot from the edge of the box.

They're the two which the City fan was giving it to every couple of minutes.
 
It was a good day out, i enjoyed it.

Theres definitely room for improvement, but we played some beautiful stuff at times. Ben Haim, was solid, until he made a awful mistake, so we shouldn't ever play him. Because even when hes good hes shit haha.

Adebayor was very ul with his lob, everyboy thought it was in, so you cant really blame him for his reactions. I also thought his work rate was great, something i didnt expect.
 
Cheers lads, nice to hear it from a City viewpoint rather from those cretins on SSN. Was hoping the darts song would get going..... hopefully it'll catch on later. Hate that elephant song, I know its a laugh but whats that got to do with City and football ?

Not a great result considering the strength of the team but I suppose its all about fitness levels at the mo.
 
Just got back. Played some good stuff Robbie, Bellamy and Ade looked promising just not quiet coming off, hopefully with time when they get to know each other better it will all gel. Turned on Sky Sports News to find them slagging us off already in the headlines. Tossers.
