The King's Birthday Honours

Because of him, thousands and thousands of kids are taking up the sport in youth clubs and dedicated darts academies and even in their own homes.

He’s inspired and continues to inspire a generation to focus on something they enjoy.

It doesn’t matter whether he got an MBE in 12 months or 12 years, the impact is the same.
If that's the criteria then Rebecca Welch has probably inspired a generation of girls to get into refereeing.

The criteria is for their services to the particular thing they are involved in.

Littler has been in the sport for 18 months now and everything has gone up, adult participation, youth participation, sponsorship, attendance, prize money.

It Rebecca Welch has inspired a generation of girls to get into refereeing then she too deserves recognition in this system that I don’t actually agree with.

Here we go an outdated family, trying to stay relevant by going to the dressing up box and handing out bauble bullshit to sycophants.

If beckham is worthy of any kind of award why not Lou Macari, one of the few scum who seems to have a good heart and soul.

Sooner this ridiculous day is in Room 101 the better, along with a so called royal family

Those who make this bizarre day are the armed services, they are the ones who provide the pageantry, precision and colour.
Lou Macari certainly deserves something for his charity work , quite bizarre that he’s overlooked I guess he’s not an arse kissing fame junkie like Dopey David.

Former Celtic player so presume (wrongly or rightly) he’s a Catholic so could have possibly turned one down?

Edit - just googled him and never knew his real first name is Luigi

it's very mentally challenging if you play competitively
This is true. An old mate of mine was a top player in the area, think he represented Lancashire? Pete Ward, landlord of The Horseshoe, Newton Heath. He once played a game in The Smut, kneeling down, and won.

If I gave a flying fuck about these things, I’d be pleased for Devon Malcolm getting something.

In fact, fuck it, I’m pleased for him anyway.

Fantastic programme that, Mel Smith, GR Jones, Rowan Atkinson, Pamela Stephenson, they pushed the boundaries at the time along with “Who Dares Wins”, brilliant.
NTNOCN is still one of my favourite programmes.

Some of the sketches were brilliantly written superbly performed,
