The Kippax Last Stand - 30/4/1994

Had sex in Owen's Park that night with a posh southerner called Abigail Parker Thompson. A good day. What score was the game?

I have memories of a couple of Chelsea lads dressed as the blues brothers laying a wreath of sky blue and white flowers in front of the kippax. I also bought a t shirt with kippax last stand and the date, it would go nowehere near me now sadly.

Going from too to bottom when Bishop scored against the Rags in the 5-1. The old perv, who no matter where we stood ( usually above the tunnel near the away pen) would be behind you waiting for the first chance to rub himself up against you, feekibg enraged at othe MUFC sprayed on one of the roof girders, sitting on the grass bank outside whenever the sun chose to shine. Getting in for under 14 even though I was pushing early twenties:)

As a kid I used to sit in the North Stand in awe of the noise that emanated from the Kippax. So many occasions of great atmosphere - love the Etihad but wished we could generate the noise in games like those days

God, i loved it. Climb the steps, pitch comes into view, find our usual spot about two thirds the way down, opposite the halfway line. Who have we got today? Well it depends, this is City. It could be Argyle, or Shrewsbury (pissing down, draw, lost the replay). Now City are back so it could be Liverpool, the champions (King Colin saw them off). Yes City are back (again) so we can humiliate the rags and send Taggart away red faced and fuming (thank you, Goat and Mr. Neville). And now, no Kippax, but what a team!
One special memory: Bert's testimonial. Setters scored an own goal past him. Trust a rag.

Beating Liverpool 1 nil boxing day (1985 I think)

Stood on the wall in the middle and just seeing the masses go mad when Clive Wilson (I think) scored. The sight was amazing and that word is used way too much these days but it truly was
