Stands up and applaudsNot as interesting as the hypocrisy from the lefties who are all celebrating labours proposals which are Reform ideas.

Fair commentThey dont care about a sound immigration policy. If they did they would be talking about the positive impact immigration and immigrants can have on the country while recognising that immigration needs to be controlled.
They're interested in winning the next election, that's all.
If you mean me, then very wise if it winds you up. I've had the bloke you quoted on ignore for months and he hasn't since annoyed me one bit. May have called me a **** for all I care. Never read a word of it. It's a HUGE improvement, I can tell you. It's pretty clear at this point that user has gone headfirst down the alt-right rabbithole and can't see the entrance anymore. His posts are justcliched RW talking points stitched together with expletives, rarely having much to do with the topic at hand.
He's probably just best left to his own devices in a corner and ignored, it's not like the posts are adding anything to the discussion, but it's something we're going to see happen more and more as MAGA money and tactics keeps getting pumped into this country.
I feel Labours problems may lie in the courtroom but we shall see.Reform want a complete freeze on immigration, leave the ECHR, mass deportation and use the Navy to turn back the boats.
None of that has been proposed by Labour. instead they're using fair and measured controls which if work, will make Reform look like right bellends.
We'll both have a long wait I'm afraid. Farage is far from what is needed. He's just better than any Labour alternative by a million miles and those are the only two who can possibly win the next GE.I look forward to you telling me you told me so when we live in this low-tax utopia you describe
Nope, never called him/you one of those. A liar, yes.If you mean me, then very wise if it winds you up. I've had the bloke you quoted on ignore for months and he hasn't since annoyed me one bit. The problem is that every penny of profit needs to be invested in the services they provide but instead they pay huge dividends and end up getting government funding for essential repairs and improvements which means they’re forced to overcharge in order to pay interest on loans and the services don’t get any better. Nationalisation would cost the country an absolute fortune and the shareholders would be the only beneficiaries. We need a government that’s brave enough to mandate that the companies spend their profits on improvements. No idea how much it would cost but I'd nationalise the utilities because they are ripping off the public. Still make profits but not ridiculous one's, then invest the yearly profits into public services, such as the NHS, public transport, and the Police.
Is it feasible? If not why not?

You know it’s bad when the speaker calls it the Hokey Cokey budget
If they don’t take action on migration = ‘they’re spineless and don’t have a clue, we want our country back’’
If they do take action of migration = All because of Reform proposals.
If people want action on immigration/asylum they dont like brown folk say Labour supporters on here.
If labour do try and do something about it then they also dont like bro...... sorry are dealing with the problem that wasn't much of a problem.
Im sure the polls/flags/protests had no influence on the Govt at all.
After all you guys wouldnt vote for a party that panders to racists would you.
Hypocrisy everywhere.
People really should know by now to debate the issue not the opposing side or poster. You will come a cropper quite often otherwise. If it wasn’t so sad it would be funny.

I’ve always advocated that immigration and especially illegal migrants is a big problem which needs sorting, The Tories had 14 years to sort the issue out and Brexit also increased the crossings. Labour have come in for absolute tidal wave of abuse for not fixing the issue in a year - now they’re proposing stronger much needed measures without leaving the ECHR, calling for mass deportation and using the Navy which the extreme fraction demand.
Put them up in hotels ...... '' they dont deserve this... too posh , too much money!! ''
Put them up in Army Barracks ... '' dont want them here ... they will change the community!!''
Truth is ... they don't want them anywhere ......unless they're white.
I f@cking dispair .... the only thing Im not hearing is .... lets stop bombing them or selling the weapons to people who do bomb them .
That bit gets me. I mean that was a bollocks policy, never going to get traction. But Labour (I dont mind who sorts it as long as its not Reform, too amateur, too divisive) have changed meaningful things, policies, brought in simple rules, looked around for how others deal with it and are getting on with it from what I see.1) It wasn't happening to this extent 14 years ago
2) The Tories were also getting grief for it and were trying to fight off Reform hence the Rwanda scheme, let's not rewrite history here.
3) I didn't mention you by name just replying to your post. You will be aware of the type of poster im referring to. Its been discussed endlessly on here for what seems like forever. Saying illegal immigrants is a big problem like you just did wouldn't be met wirh niceties by a fair few on here.
They are now looking a bit silly unless they call out the Labour Party for it.
Im sure they're just on holiday or something and will be along any day now:-)
They were spectacularly useless that lot. That bit gets me. I mean that was a bollocks policy, never going to get traction. It feels like the conservatives didnt do anything like that, like they just threw their weight around this Rwanda thing. Made it a big and loud policy rather than tackling the issue fundamentally.
