The Labour Government

I just wanted to say what a good job Labour are doing, nice to have some serious, capable and professional types running the country instead of the Tory freak show.

The cost of providing 24 hour protection to living former Prime Ministers has increased to unheard of levels thanks to the number of useless tosser PM's the Tories worked their way through in the last Parliament.

UK Taxpayers now get to enjoy paying for Liz Truss to have 24 hour close protection for rest of her life as she flies around the World spouting her right-wing conspiracy nut-job nonsense to anyone that will listen.

We need more Luigi's in the world.

And in other news today....

one for the resident right wing forriner haters

well its a good thing they have done to try and get the numbers down. I mean the absolute madness of it was all those running around yelling stop the boats couldn't also bring themselves to tell you that without making all these agreements they were doing the people smuggling across the Channel was not illegal. Smuggling people from say Greece to Dortmund was but not across the Channel. And they couldn't tell you that because then they would have to tell you the reason thats the case. Its about a word that starts with the letter B - these is another thread about on here ............

Looks like the 2.8% pay recommendation for the Nurses/Teachers etc isn’t going down well. With inflation predicted to be 2.6% next year, I’m not sure it’s that bad!

When junior doctors are getting 20%-plus pay rises, and the Chancellor describes the sums involved as a ‘drop in the ocean’, then it’s hardly a surprise when nurses question why they’re only receiving 2.8%.

Highly predictable, I would say.
