Yep, the jury is still out. He’s made progress in his first year but being a politician is almost as much about selling your vision to the public as actually implementing policy because if he can’t take the electorate with him he’s doomed to failure. He’s certainly up against it with three quarters of the established media completely against him, in many cases apparently irrationally, but in reality acting in the interests of their billionaire owners rather than the country.

I'm sorry but you cannot call a war mounger like Blair a statesman. The last Stateman the Labour Party had was the late John Smith. Robin Cook was another of the highest integrity, although he was only foreign secretary and not leader. Blair the liar was not fit to lick the boots of either of those guys.

What cost is that? You do know the UK has done better than any other G7 European country since we left. And that's despite three pretty incompetent conservative governments being at the helm. We continue to pull further ahead despite the Chancellor rocking the boat a bit with her heavy tax policies.
