The Labour Government

I was embarrassed for him today. Should have stuck to his law career . He is no leader.
If you think his performance today was anything other than damaging you must have lost all sense of perspective.

That’s the funniest thing I’ve seen for quite some time. I thought he was going to burst into tears at one point.

I must say, if you didn’t know who they were, you’d never have guessed today that Starmer was the UK prime minister meeting a foreign leader in the UK. He’s completely servile to Trump.

I think he's caddying for him tomorrow, handing him his clubs and cleaning.his balls.

He's responsible for the titleist pro v's as well:-)

Is there any data to suggest the opposite ? Are prosecutions up ?
Genuine question, if there is any alternative data I haven't seen it .

We won’t know yet, which is why Jenricks numbers are disingenuous, the MOJ haven’t released past December last year yet.

Complete failure that became a QC and subsequently Prime Minister of the UK. Yeh, proper failure, that. How embarrassing to think that tweet is some sort of gotcha.
It’s fucking hilarious mate. All that video is is Trump doing the usual and waffling on about how fucking great he is and blowing smoke up his own arse. Actually, he blows smoke up Starmer’s arse for a few seconds, saying he’s getting tough on immigration.

Any **** who thinks that clip is embarrassing for Starmer is almost as big a **** as Trump is. Trump does that shit all the fucking time and the best thing to do is not to rise to it. That’s the right thing to do when dealing with a narcissist at the extreme end of the spectrum, especially one who just happens to be the president of the world’s most powerful country. Just like Zelenskyy didn’t rise to Trump’s - and Vance’s - bullying tactics back in February and instead let it go over his head.

Corbyn's wife is the Labour Party Comms Officer -could explain a lot about their last 12 months communications

I find it really strange that after watching the likes of Chris Mason, who always comes across as anti-Starmer, tell everybody that Starmer’s had a good day, I then see all these little clips and posts on here, some from yesteryear, saying how much of a weasel, gimp, etc, that he is.

That old clip of Trump telling the reporter to be quiet, posted as if it was today, made me realise that people will believe anything if they want to. May as well be MAGA.

Not sure if that's his poker face or if he's trying to stay awake.
Reminded me a bit of that Musk clip in the Whitehouse, where Trump was waffling on and Musk was like ‘WTF am I doing here, I wonder if they’ll notice if I do a line of ket’.

How do you think he compares with his recent predecessors? To be honest he comes across as better than the last three for me. Jury is out on May and Cameron as he has not been in the job long enough.

He does need to get a slightly better deal for the UK with the US, as we had a trade balance. But its not easy dealing with Trump is it.

Absolutely, Can tell the Farage lackies on here desperate to find any fault and lay into Starmer.

There was nothing that out the ordinary at all, he let Trump rabble and spout nonsense, chipped in a few times and once again diplomatically handled him well- it’s paying off, Trump can’t stop saying how great Starmer is and we’re getting better trade deals than the EU and other countries around the world. No wonder that upsets the anti Labour brigade.

It’s very sad how so many have been brainwashed by social media clips.

I think Sunak would’ve been better than he was if he didn’t have to mop Truss’s shit up. May was the safe and unspectacular choice after Cameron jumped ship, and Cameron himself wasn’t too bad until he caved in to those in his own party who wanted a vote on Brexit.
Starmer might be lacking in charisma at times and domestically he could’ve handled the whole WFA and Welfare bill issues a lot better, but he seems quite well respected on the international stage.
