So part privatisation of the NHS? I agree to a point that the model is broken.
Defence: If we can't see the threat now, we never will. I would however like to see more of the proposed spending within the UK.
Nett Zero: At present the vast majority of the proposed spending on this come from private sources.
Foreign aid has been substantially reduced and is now used towards the migrant issue. But it's important that we still help countries if it helps alleviate the migrant issue at source.
Welfare: whenever the government have tried to make changes and savings, different groups oppose and as happenend recently rejected the proposed overhaul.
Government: I agree
Irregular migration: not easily done as we have seen

Are you personally affected by any of the proposed solutions?

Well we actually spend and tax. Tax receipts don't determine what we spend, certainly not in the short/medium term, hence there is a multi-year spending plan.
 
Whatever your political views are there is no doubting what the really big issue is with the vast majority of the population.

Go in any pub, club, restaurant or anywhere people are gathered and the main topic of conversation is illegal immigration and the failure of succesive governments to stop the flow, especially those crossing in rubber boats.

If the Labour part fail to stop it then we all know what is likely to happen at the next general election.

It's just not though is it. The main topic of conversation is football or the weather. I almost never talk to someone at a pub about politics (no one has ever talked about immigration at a club come on). On the rare occasion I do it's about how people are struggling to pay this bill or this thing has gone up in price. A very tiny number of those people put it down to illegal immigration, but most put it down to cunts at the top of the pyramid.

Pretty much. I'm in my mid-thirties, and whilst my friends and I gravitate to like-minded people, I haven't bumped into a single person that gives a fuck about this channel "crisis".

It's interesting that the poster mentioned pubs and clubs though, because I would imagine the local piss head propping the bar up with his bulldog tattoo does gnash his teeth about brown people. Like-minded people.

Not sure where you go for a bit of downtime but they don’t represent the establishments that I frequent.

Not round here. But it's still a Tory seat so the locals know moaning would be complete hypocrisy.

Maybe try somewhere other than Wetherspoons or the local Indian?

it wasn't to find suggestions on how to cut spending I went on there to review what the govt and the previous govt have done - if you are so far down the rabbit hole you distrust govt published web pages then you are lost

Yeah, we can’t possibly reduce welfare expenditure, can we?

And this government’s failure to implement spending cuts was presumably only because a quarter of the population are genuinely disabled, rather than any incompetence and weakness on their behalf.
