The Labour Government

Madness calling for Starmer to step down, haven’t we had enough of a revolving number 10? More and more ex PMs living off the taxpayers without completing a four year term.

Millions sat at home, gave Starmer their vote and do not want a change. A few media red tops agitating for change and some act like sheep.

As far as I know Mandelson has not been convicted of any crime, only morally associated with someone who has.

I do go on a bit ? Just thinking about the public purse and all those extra perks PMs get after they step down or are replaced………………………... “Former prime ministers can claim a maximum of £115,000 a year for expenses incurred while fulfilling public duties associated with being a former prime minister. It’s not correct to describe this as a pension”
If we sack Mandelson he will sue us for “unfair dismissal”

GB News tonight report that one of the Sunday newspapers has an article in which it claims Rachel from Accounts has been side-stepped as Chancellor. Starmer has appointed a budget committee reporting to him leaving Reaves virtually jobless.

Speculation is that she is being kept on as a useful scapegoat should the next budget fail, and it is hinted as a hard nosed budget.

Starting a post with GB News reports about a Sunday newspaper (probably the Mail) means it’s probably pointless reading the rest of the post because it’s more than likely a made up story.

Sorry, I wasn't aware that you were the bastion of all that's good and holy and the font of all knowledge

Surprised you're finding the time to post on here tonight. Shouldn't you be out with your flags and ladders?

The Tories normalised this so yeah if push comes to shove Labour can change PM's now or in the future because the previous administration did so 3 time in 4 months without calling a GE.

In terms of a vote why would Labour go for a GE? Huge majority and nearly 500k to earn before the next GE so why blow that rather than changing the Party around?

A lot of what you see and read is a right wing media who understands how the system works and right wing commentators who know the same them right wing morons on social media all calling for / expecting a GE were Starmer which won't happen because precedent doesn't require it t because they harbour a Reform win fantasy (spoiler all polls indicate if they win they don't nave a working majority )- lets face it at the end of the day the "silent majority" are a "noisy minority" who are benefiting from a media boost because that media hitched its hore to the wrong (Tory ) horse and hate the outcome

What a load of gobbledygooks.

Are you happy with the prime minister lying about how he came to appoint, and then fire, a paedophile’s best mate from the position of ambassador to the US?
