To be fair the 'noticing' of this of this story, that has been in the public domain for at least 18 months, has only just reached the Tory MP/Daily Mail level. Maybe if the lobby hacks start noticing it might filter through in here ...Unsurprisingly ignored.

Yep;)Yeah I saw some Tory MP talking about it earlier with a shit ton of whataboutery underneath it. It’s another story that has been known about for years but is only now getting leaked.

Nope.
When this first came to light, they passed this off as an oversight, a mistake. The electoral commission accepted this and fined them accordingly.
What's now come to light is that this was perhaps not a mistake, but deliberate non-disclosure - a criminal offence in itself. I gather there was correspondence between the allegedly guilty parties and their lawyers advising them that the donations must be disclosed, and on the face of it, this advice was actively ignored. Not an oversight at all.
If this proves to be the case, heads will roll, at least. It's far more serious than we were initially led to believe.

Think he may have to wait his turn though.:-)
There's nothing like compartmentalising people. The thing that is really going to piss me off if it happens is the abolition of the 2 child benefit cap. Further rewarding the feckless. I know we have a declining birth rate etc but the only people who will really benefit from this are Greggs and McDonalds
This fiasco from a lawyer, it has been a disgrace of a Government.I really do think this latest development may be his undoing. If it's shown that he knowingly failed to disclose £750k to support his leadership aspirations, he's finished. He'll have to step down to save the disgrace of being barred from parliament and an ensuing by-election.
I agree as long as you carried on receiving it before it was stopped for more than two, if you give people notice they won’t receive it then that’s fine you can then decide if you want more and can afford them. The thing that is really going to piss me off if it happens is the abolition of the 2 child benefit cap. But there is some truth in what they say. There's nothing like compartmentalising people.
That's what research is all aboutThere's nothing like compartmentalising people.
i don't want "some truth", I want THE truth. There's probably "some truth" that a City fan somewhere is a wife-beater but that doesn't apply to all-I hope. It's just a lazy comment. It's what we hear more and more from the likes of Farage. Have a listen to what he said in his interview yesterday about Trump's claims about immigrants eating pets. It finished up with him saying "prove they're not". It's complete bollocks and peole are being taken in by it.But there is some truth in what they say.
