The Brexit Withdrawal Agreement should have been negotiated, back-and-forth, and decided on before any Referendum ever took place. It should all have gone on in the background while Britain/EU got on with things as we were, for years.
Once the optimal hypothetical WA was agreed by both Britain/EU, the Referendum should then have occurred based on what the agreed hypothetical deal was… ‘Should the UK Remain/Leave the EU with this Withdrawal Agreement?’, with us having a fully documented deal to read through and take stock of.
We would all have known what we were voting for.
In the end, nobody knew what we were voting for. Even the campaigning was nonsense based on no reality from either side. It was like a General Election where no Party produced a manifesto or did any media. It was a blind guess on the biggest vote in British voting history.
Ridiculous!
