All I know is that when Corbyn was in power, Owen Jones spent almost every column he had telling people who didn’t like Corbyn that it was their responsibility to unite behind the leader and swallow their discontent because a Labour leader you don’t like is better than the Tories.


And as soon as Starmer got in, he has done everything he can to do the opposite and is now fucking off.

What’s your problem with copying this rule?

Is it literally just the fact the Tories invented it?

The rule means absolutely nothing. We had this all explained 3 weeks ago after the budget.

I haven’t though have I? There’s no reason to be upset at keeping in place a rule that doesn’t really do anything but allows Labour to say it’s keeping the Tories fiscal rules in place.

The only reason you’d be upset is if you had no understanding of the tories self imposed fiscal rules
