The Labour Party

The antisemitism row is having more an impact on me than their Brexit stance.
The Labour Party is as fucked up as the Tories. It’s a shame that the Lib Dems have gone invisible. They could clean up with some proper leadership and a decent campaign.

As it is for many people. Quite a number of former Labour supporters are put off voting for them and they really aren't helping themselves with shit like this.

My family is part Jewish and they cannot justify voting for them anymore.

It’s the mob mentality that’s very quickly taken over.

I really don’t like what I’m seeing, hearing and reading from Labour at the moment.

I’ve mentally tossed and turned on where my next vote is going and I still don’t know but I’m very close to leaving Labour behind.

If I vote for an institutionally antisemitic party I’ll never forgive myself, despite there being many decent MP’s and members still in the party.

Well I’ve just bought a new house and it’s looking like it’s going through in time to register and vote in the Euro elections - which I didn’t think was going to be the case until today.

Where I am currently it’s Labour but where I’m moving it’s a toss up between Tory and Lib Dem so I’m going for Lib Dem I think.

Me too. I’ll be voting Lib Dem, not through deeply held conviction but I see them as the least worst option and the only mainstream party with a consistent message regarding Brexit.

For me it’s because they’re a lot less shit than the Tories and those are the two options in my new constituency.

But inconsistent messages on everything else depending whether their main opponent is Labour or Tory.

You only have to look at Spain ( and Finland ) where hard right nationalists have shouted the loudest and captured the media spotlight but when it comes to the polls the socialist left buck the perceived trend. In Spain the Centre Right tried to appeal across the board but lurched to the right because of the threat from Vox the upshot was they lost votes to the far right anyway and those that were more to the Centre Left voted Centre Left leaving the Centre Right bereft with their lowest vote in years but what it has done is split the right vote.
So just imagine - the Right in turmoil - the Centre Right being deserted by their left wing - their right wing moving far right and split amongst several factions and the Socialists winning through.
Transfer that to the UK and what you have is the simple fact that The Brexit Party doesn't magic up any more Leave voters - just splits the vote between UKIP and themselves - Tories vote collapses even further - Labour win an election but not a majority - they seek to do a deal with the TIG's and the SDP and the DUP are the winners as they got at least £1bn for Ulster and Brexit still isn't resolved............

They will lose a lot of northern seats because of their Mps voting down everything on Brexit for the simple reason that it's a Tory Brexit.
The losing big hitter being Yvette Cooper.
70-30 for Brexit and she frustrates her constituents.
Girlfriends brother lives in Pontefract and says she's fucked at the next election.

Good work, I was going to vote greens in the locals and they haven’t got a fucking candidate. Great system we have I can’t even vote for who I want.

Labour Tory or TIG that’s it.

I’ve changed my mind so much.

It’s been a merry-go-round in my head, which hasn’t helped as my house move is now happening in the next two weeks, a lot sooner than expected, so I’ll have time to register there and vote.

It’s typically Lib Dem or Tory there so I may go Lib Dem but the Green Party align with my current beliefs the most.

What I do know, after the last week, is that I’m ditching Labour, the latest antisemitic incidents have forced me to turn away.
