Not really, or at least she shouldn't think she is. As an MP she should be supporting the Equalities Act, so really her opinions should fall into line with Rayner's. Many moderate Muslims accept the LGBT community and support LGBT rights and would support Rayner's stance more than Mahmood's. I don't understand why she came out with such a BS 'defence' of the decision to ban teaching same sex relationships in schools. I'm guessing there'd be an uproar if teaching about religion was considered "age appropriate".
