Ridiculous for Momentum to do this on the eve of a General Election. Labour don’t half shoot themselves in the foot sometimes.
Tbf this was the last instance available to get it into confrence, for a vote, the membership have been calling for him to be sacked for over a year and as present rules apply you need MPs to agree to a new election for it to happen, whic hthey won't so a rule change at conference is needed.
The fact the NEC voted 17-10 to have it discussed at their meeting today and that it has been widely met with support in the members shows that it was the right thing to do.
I haven't hidden how much I hate watson on here, the man is a stain on the party for 15 years now, he has undermined Blair, brown, milliband and not Jeremy, and even if I was never a blair fan, watson actions and duplicitous backstabbing of him because he saw his arse was pathetic.
I never voted him DL at the time as I have disliked and not trusted him for years.
