What great news to wake up to. Fucking hilarious.
Fucking off Watson may please Momentum, but he's not the problem the electorate have.
Fucking off Corbyn, well, that may resonate, but you're stuck with him now because of this membership that has
recently swelled the ranks. The membership has zero effect on the electorate, Corbyn, it appears, has a toxic affect.
To have worst opposition leader ever can't exactly be filling ordinary Labour voters with confidence.
Post in another thread then, it is not compulsory to discuss the Labour Party.
He is just a wum, sad really. He offers nothing to any debate on here.
Tories in disarray amid a potential constitutional crisis and a looming GE so Labour start a bit of internal fighting at conference giving the media an open goal to aim at.
From the outside it doesn't look to be a very sensible move.
Fair enough. Perhaps should have posed it as a question rather than a statement. Appolgies.Their campaigning at the last election was a success and stopped Labour being annihilated , whether you like that or not, it is a fact.
Now I am trying to debate, you say there is bullying, yet you are the one who is telling me what to do and what outcome I want. So who is the bully?
Corbyn being viewed as the worst ever isn't Watsons fault, it's Corbyn's. If you're going around laying wreaths andStop saying the watson thing is a mommentum issue, ist is wider than that.
And 3.5 years there has been an undermining of Jeremy by the PLP led by and encouraged by watso, the majority or negative press about his leadership (not him personally in the IRA/hamas stuff etc) has been instigated by Watson.
He is a major issue within the party with contradictions and press briefings opoosite to policy which is then reported as labour being unclear and so helps with a public perception of a party in a mess.
Will him going solve all the problems? No, but he is undermining labour efforts and hiding behind the MP vote only rule, if the members had their choice he would have gone in 2018
Who is fighting internally, 12 MPs and the ones you expect have criticised this, members seems happy with it this is just the same stand off that has been going on for 3 years between a select few MPs and the membership.
The press are making this into some major battle, if the NEC vote to pass the motion it will go to conference an dbe voted on, not big arguement, the party isn't going to colapse, some MPs privately threatening to leave and become independants, if that happens then maybe it will become something more.
It is hardly rolling news worthy as the beeb are reporting, maybe story number 5 or 6 in a buletin.
Corbyn being viewed as the worst ever isn't Watsons fault, it's Corbyn's. If you're going around laying wreaths and
supporting terrorist groups, that's what will happen, if the same people who were asked why they dislike him so much, I doubt
they would respond by saying it's because Watson and the PLP hates him.
The responsibility for the public perception of of someone, generally lies with that someone.
The possible sacking of the deputy leader by getting rid of his role isn't news worthy?
Give over ffs.
This isn't a restructuring, its a coup and is rightly being reported as such.
As you say the dispute with Watson seems to have been going on for a good while, I'd have thought just after the last GE would have been the ideal time to sort it out rather than what's likely to be a short time before the next one.Who is fighting internally, 12 MPs and the ones you expect have criticised this, members seems happy with it this is just the same stand off that has been going on for 3 years between a select few MPs and the membership.

I think you'll find you are third behind the scumbag eton elite and the illiberal antidemocratic party.Fair enough. Perhaps should have posed it as a question rather than a statement. Appolgies.
Last election a success.??
We couldnt dislodge this shower. Like i said earlier. Modern (lol) labour is dilusional. Coming a distant second to a scumbag eton elite who have fckd up every policy is fkn pathetic.
I believe in pluralism. Watson represents himself for sure but also a section of the PLP. A section who have no voice in the shadow cabinet and are under threat in their constituency from the active sections. I prefer the role and how it currently is elected to remain for this reason. Watson himself however is a different matter.True the timing is strange.
However I think this and Corbyn becomimg leader can be dates back to just after milliband quit and Harman was interim leader.
The welthfare vote that happened in that time where she never whipped MPs to vote ahainst the bill and the majority of the PLP voting for it really annoyed the membership.
They were done with the neo lib stance and so backed jeremy to leader.
If a GE comes along ad labour lose jezza will be gone and the members are not having Watson get interim leader and enact his bollocks on the party, this is basically a stop the twat motion.
Which is why I think it should be a change it to a yearly elected postion chosen by members not MPs deciciding by themselves when one is elected.
Not sure it is my party anymore. In limbo. Plague on all their houses. But tha solves nothing and allows in the loons. Voting for the least distasteful shade of shite is all we have left...I think you'll find you are third behind the scumbag eton elite and the illiberal antidemocratic party.
Difficult to see how the tories can form a government if they lose their Scottish seats and the ones they took from the Lib Dem’s in 2015I would agree with your numbers, but disagree with the projected result, for me, the conservatives would take that spot.
If there is a coalition with the BP, they would piss it, which may yet happen, we'll see.
