The OP clearly didn't get the memo of modern England. The more you slag off your country, the better. I'm delighted to see so many people say they couldn't give a fuck. What a beautiful message this sends about modern day England. Not only do people here not care, they seem almost enthralled at the fact that their English club is owned by a foreigner with no local players. Modern football and modern day life is truly a glorious thing to behold. In Italy they have the Italian flag on most kits, if they tried to do that here, the English contingent would probably refuse it because it offends them. Absolute sinkhole country with a sinkhole attitude to our own.

Thats why Liverpool are beginning to gain so much respect in the media. While they haven't had much success recently and been out of Europe for a while Rogers has come in and developed a squad challenging at the top with at least 6 british first team players playing regularly. Hopefully with time we'll see one or two young British lads coming through the EDS that we can be proud of. In the meantime I' m quite happy to see so many world class players giving us so much happiness.

I'd like us to have City fans as players irrespective of where they were born.
I like England to do well simply for the atmosphere (piss ups) during the tournaments but it's City over England for me all day long and without a second's thought. If someone doesn't like that, good, I'm glad it annoys you.
