No problem, But the tone of thT post yelled jealousy.
Look mate there are bound to be people that are jealous of your team's achievement and as it's the internet then conspiracy theories abound. It's modern life.
Plus you'd better get used to it. We've gone from being love-able City, the great under achievers to public enemy number one because we got lucky with (IMO) the best owners in football and started winning stuff.
But as previously stated the vast majority of City fans on here and beyond, in the real world, are actually very happy for you.I started this thread back in December when it became clear that you weren't going away and here's my OP...
It's about time they had their own thread.
Good on em I say.
Realistic title challengers?
I remember Forest coming up and nobody gave them a chance until they finally won it.
Who knows?
And there are plenty like this in response.
When you beat (murdered) us at The Etihad it was a lesson in football and I was really impressed at the teamwork, tactics and skill... and I stayed behind and applauded your team off so we're not all bitter and jealous. Annoyed that we fucked it up, but not bitter. The best team won the league. They always do.
If you want to focus on the negatives then fine go ahead but don't misrepresent the majority view that you winning it is actually good for football.
So, enough with the petty insults. Yes we under-performed this season and frankly if we hadn't, you probably wouldn't have won it. So perhaps you should be thankful that we persisted with a lame duck manager. Can we have Kante please as a token of your gratitude? -) The next guy won't be such a push over, even though as you rightly say he's got a big job on his hands.
All the best next season. You'll find it hard to balance CL group football with the PL, not to mention the expense (if you actually attend games?) so let's see how you do with injuries and the inevitable need for squad rotation.
I wonder if this post is going to get circulated amongst your friends?
