For me Vardy to Arsenal seems a strange signing
Vardy's success has come mainly from his pace on counter attacking football.
Arsenal's game is very much possession based, with the opposition sat deep
Surely what Arsenal require is a clever six yard box poacher
But Arsenal away at the etihad for example is a wholly different kettle of fish...that,maybe, is where jamie fox is going to shine..remember, those lightning away from home counter-attacks of arsenal depend heavily on the tricky young speed merchants like theo being fit......and "young" foxy,as we know, never ever gets injured, no matter how explosive he is.hamstrings of steel on the veteran billy whizz, whilst the youngsters own strings break once a month.

Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy's representatives have told Arsenal the striker wants to focus on Euro 2016.

The Gunners have triggered a release clause in the England international's contract, and are believed to have offered him a £120,000-a-week deal.

Premier League champions Leicester are thought to have made Vardy, 29, a counter offer as they try to keep him.

Arsenal, whose bid is reported to be about £20m, were expecting a response from the player on Monday.

He is now in France with England and is said to be fully focused on Euro 2016

If he signed for Arsenal he wouldn't have to put up with the racket made by those fucking 'clappy' things they hand out to fans at Leicester.
