The Liverpool Thread

KKK is apparently referring to Carroll to journo's as a -£15m signing (price they got for Torres less price they paid for Carroll).

I'd expect that from a poster on RAWK, but from the manager of the club that is bizarre.

He's been doing this for a while, think I heard him say it in a press conference a few months ago. Deluded doesn't even begin to describe him.

Always disliked Liverpool, shit hole of City and the fans are nothing but trouble half the time, anyone who went to Anfield in the 70s and 80s and to be honest any trip there will know what I am on about. The Semi there in 81 was a nightmare and if we win there next week expect plenty of the same. They always seem to come across as the hard done by bunch when really they cause all the shit themselves. They need to move on, they were one of the worlds biggest clubs in the 70's but not anymore and thats what they can't live with.

even RAWK are waking up to the fact that KK has based liverpool fc on playing stone age football..get the ball to the wingers, get a cross in and caroll will head it in....tatical genius not.

and speaking of wingers...Downing..no goals, no assists this season. is there a plan B for this once proud club?... I dont think so.

Not trying to take the piss out of Liverpool here, this is for real, this is plan B

Plan A was Torres. Or, more accurately, Rafa Benitez and the great team he was to assemble. The whole H&G saga overshadowed this.

EDIT: Sorry, just remembered this is plan C, otherwise known as 'operation desperation'. Plan B was Roy 'steady the ship on a shoestring budget' Hodgeson.
